The ancient Greeks knew the art of soap making. Now you can learn it also. In this two hour class you will learn some of the interesting history of soap along with how to safely formulate and make your own soap. You will turn 1 pound of vegan oils into 1.25 - 1.5 pounds of soap with your own hands. The mild soap created in this class is made the old fashioned way, “from scratch,” using lye and oils.
Your instructor, Laura Zielinski, is a formulation chemist who has more than 20 years experience making soap, lecturing, teaching and leading workshops. She is also the founder of Dragonfly Soap Works, a boutique skin care company, founded in 2004.
